This is just fun for anyone no matter what your cooking talent is! My husband bought me a gnocchi making class for Christmas and we finally redeemed it last weekend. It was delicious and a great way to spend time together- you could go with a parent, solo, or with a friend!
No I am not paid to say this (I wish) but I really, really love Blue Apron! I’ve learned more about cooking and discovered new ingredients through their meal delivery service. I’ve even recreated some meals of theirs I’ve loved in the past. Check out my Blue Apron review to learn more!
To be good at something you need the right equipment for it! I would highly recommend a mini food processor and high quality knives as my top two items of importance! When preparing healthy meals the knives make veggie cutting so much easier!!
There are so many things I didn’t know how to cook until I tried it! You can google anything for recipe ideas or inspiration… challenge yourself to pick up a new to you grain, fruit, veggie, etc to learn more and find new and interesting things you like!
No one gets good at anything overnight! I honestly sucked at cooking before living with other dietetic interns that helped mold me and teach me the ways of healthy and delicious cooking. One even inspired me to be more vegan/vegetarian based because of all the wonderful foods she shared with me. I should also note you need patience with practice :)
